Even though we know the day will come, Callie aged quietly and sneakily until she grew too tired to fake it any longer at 16 years old. I thought we’d have time to plan better, but having the service that Dr Sandra and her amazing staff provide was a such a God send to our fragile hearts. Dr Sandra took the time to sit with Callie as well as our other pup and guide us patiently through Callie’s final journey. Callie being in her own home, in her bed surrounded by most her tribe gave us comfort and peace as she took her final deep breath while being held with so much love. Our pets love us so unconditionally, giving us all they have and asking for such little in return. Having a service like Dr Sandra has, with such conpassion and support meant the world to us. Thank you for giving Callie her dignity, grace and gentle love in her final moments with us here on earth. Eternally grateful!
